How to actually finish a reset
Riaz Hattia · Founder’s notes
A reset is a short, deliberate stretch where you run mostly on cold-pressed juice instead of thinking about food three times a day. That’s it. It isn’t a punishment for a bad month and it isn’t a shortcut — it’s a clean line in the sand you can start a routine from.
The most common mistake we see isn’t choosing the wrong juice. It’s choosing five days when you had one day’s worth of week in you. So here’s what actually helps.
Four things that make the difference
- Pick a length you can finish. A completed 1 day beats an abandoned 7, every single time. You can always go longer next time — nobody ever regretted starting small.
- Look at the week before you order. A reset landing on a wedding weekend or a month-end deadline is a reset you'll abandon on day two. Move it, don't cancel it.
- Drink water like it's your job. Water and herbal tea ride alongside every juice, not instead of one.
- Plan the day after. The day you come off a reset matters more than any single day on it. Have something simple and real in the fridge so the first decision isn't made at a drive-through.
And if you don’t finish?
Then you don’t finish. You had two good days you wouldn’t otherwise have had, and you know something about your week that you didn’t know before. Start the next one shorter. That’s not failure, it’s calibration — and it is genuinely how most people get anywhere.
